Falcon-9 vs. Falcon Heavy and Starship

Before Falcon Heavy, SpaceX used Falcon-9 for all its purposes. The question arises, then, what was the need to make Falcon Heavy? Before you know the answer to the question, think for yourself, if Falcon Heavy is the most powerful functional rocket in the world today, then why build a BFR? Where BFRs are needed, why not Falcon Heavy?

First, the Falcon-9 is a medium lift launch vehicle. It can carry a maximum of 22,600 kg in low earth orbit. But much more powerful cargo will need to be carried into space. Moreover, it is not possible to implement the plan to send NASA robots to Mars or any other planet with Falcon-9. He needed to build a rocket like the Falcon Heavy.

Second, the Falcon-9 costs 62 million per trip, or 2,600 doller per kg. For that, it was necessary to create a lower cost, that is, affordable technology. It can carry a maximum of 63,600 kg in low earth orbit. The Falcon Heavy Ride costs  90 million,  1,400 doller per kg.

Third, we already know that the Falcon Heavy is much more powerful than the Falcon-9. But we do not know how this power grew. This time I will know that too. The Falcon-9 rocket has a total of 9 engines, while the Falcon Heavy has 27 engines. This means that this Falcon heavy rocket has 16 more engines. As a result of the launch of the Falcon-9, 9 engines together pushed the entire rocket with a force of 6,606 kilonatons. And the Falcon Heavy 28 engines combined to push the whole rocket with a ball of 22,619 kilotons.

The ball generated by the Falcon Heavy during launch can be compared to the combined 747 Boeing ball. And the calculation of the weight can be understood as follows: Falcon Heavy will be able to carry a whole 737 jet full of passengers and cargo into low earth orbit. Only the Saturn Five flew more than once in 1973. But the cost was so high that it was never possible to fly again.

The Falcon Heavy is said to be the most powerful rocket of all time. Its carrying capacity is the highest. So do we know the carrying capacity of other rockets? Let's find out. NASA space shuttle can carry 24 thousand kg, Proton M 23 thousand kg, Delta Heavy Four 22 thousand 560 kg, Title Four-B 21 thousand 60 kg, Ariane 5 ES 20 thousand kg, Atlas V 551 can carry 16 thousand 510. Kg, Japan H2B 16,500 kg and China LM3B 11,200 kg.

Now let's talk about Big Falcon Heavy Rocket or BFR. Earlier, our eyes were fixed on the forehead when we saw the heavy power of Falcon of SpaceX. Have you ever wondered where the forehead would rise when you see the power of Big Falcon there? Undoubtedly, the Big Falcon heavy rocket is going to be the most amazing technology in the world. Its features and power are going to be sky-high.

The Big Falcon Heavy is also called Starship. It is also fully reusable and will collect fuel from Mars on its way back to Earth. It will use Ripto's full flow methane fueled engine. The Falcon-9 and Falcon Heavy use the Marilyn 1D engine. The reason for using the methane engine in Starship is that it can also be produced on Mars. According to SpaceX, the way it is being developed, it looks like it will be fully ready by the end of this year or early next year. Currently a starship prototype is being built every two weeks. A total of 20 prototypes will be made to create a full functional starship. In the meantime, two purchase pacer tests have been successful.
